About Us

Mercy Health Foundation Lorain is the philanthropic arm of Mercy Health. Through its efforts, the Foundation helps extend the healing ministry of Jesus by improving the health of our community with emphasis on people who are poor and under-served. Our goal is to support the mission and objectives of all of Mercy’s programs by joining the charitable objectives of donors with the programmatic needs of the system. The Foundation provides over $1.5 million in operating and programmatic assistance each year, supporting a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as all Mercy community outreach initiatives.

Mercy Health Foundation Lorain is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, not-for-profit organization that supports the Mercy Health Lorain System, comprehensive community health, wellness and health education initiatives.

Mercy Health Foundation Lorain implements all health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC, the hosting venue, and local health authorities.
